Delo® SHP 40 is a high performance diesel engine oil for medium- and high-speed trunk piston diesel engines operating under severe conditions.
Delo SHP also provides lubrication for turbocharged high-speed diesel engines.
Delo SHP is blended from high quality base oils and selected detergent, dispersant, anti-oxidation and anti-wear additives that protect the oil from oxidation and provide excellent detergency and dispersancy. It has very good viscosity control, and its excellent alkalinity retention properties prevent corrosive wear over long periods of time.
Recommended Uses:
Delo SHP is recommended for (1) trunk piston engines, including the latest high output, medium-speed engines using high sulfur gas oil or marine diesel oil, and (2) a wide range of heavy-duty, high-speed diesel engines operating under many different conditions.
Delo SHP can be used in vessels with and without purifiers. Delo SHP is recommended for MaK (Caterpillar), MAN Diesel & Turbo, Rolls Royce, and Wärtsilä Marine – Deutz SBVM628.
Delo SHP can be used for (approvals pending) Daihatsu, Hyundai Himsen, Niigata, Wärtsilä, and Yanmar.
