Fuchs Renolin ZAF 32B is Fuchs’s ISO VG 32 zinc- and ash-free anti-wear hydraulic and lubricating oil, and this is the genuine 20 litres pail supplied by Harlow Lubricants as an authorised Fuchs distributor. Which equipment approvals does Fuchs Renolin ZAF 32B carry?
Fuchs classifies the Renolin ZAF B range as HLP to DIN 51524-2, HM to ISO 6743-4 and ISO 11158, CLP to DIN 51517-3 and CKC to ISO 6743-6, with Daimler DBL 6713-13 (HLP) listed, an FZG scuffing stage above 12 and Brugger load-carrying of at least 30 N/mm². It is zinc- and ash-free, demulsifying, and formulated for good ageing stability and non-ferrous metal compatibility.

What is Fuchs Renolin ZAF 32B used for?
Fuchs recommends the Renolin ZAF B range as a demulsifying, zinc- and ash-free HLP hydraulic and CLP lubricating oil for all hydraulic systems, hydraulic presses and machine tools — in particular machine-tool hydraulics where contamination with metalworking emulsion can occur, because zinc-free oils are less prone to forming sludge with coolant carry-over. The same drum serves as a circulating and bearing oil.
Where a high viscosity index is needed for outdoor or mobile equipment, Fuchs’ shear-stable zinc-free alternative is the Renolin ZAF MC range (Denison HF-0 and Rexroth RDE 90245 approved), available on request; for a conventional zinc-containing HLP oil, see Renolin B.
Is Fuchs Renolin ZAF 32B the same as Renolin B 32?
No — Renolin ZAF 32B is the zinc- and ash-free version, Renolin B is the zinc-containing AW/EP oil; both are ISO VG 32 HLP hydraulic oils to DIN 51524-2. Specify ZAF where the OEM calls for zinc-free (many machine-tool and press builders do) or where coolant contamination is likely. Fuchs’ current designation for this range is Renolin ZAF B HT.
Do not confuse it with Renolin B 32 (zinc-containing), Renolin ZAF 32 MC (high-VI version) or Renolin CLP 32 (gear oil). We will check the grade against your equipment before we quote.
What are the equivalents to Fuchs Renolin ZAF 32B?

The same product is available as 205 L drum, and as a 1,000 litre IBC on request; drums and IBCs work out cheaper per litre once a site uses more than about 200 litres a month.
